Current Obsession: Bodysuits

Call them what you wanna–bodysuits, leotards, onepieces… whatever–I love ‘em. Two days ago I went out to Topshop and scooped up this amazing find:

except in lilac. imagine this worn over a black bandeau (or any color really, though preferably solid) and underneath a pair of denims (high waisted would look good too) with boots–hello spring! I also picked up a traditional red military suit style Jovonnista cardigan (with the black shoulderpads and metal tassels and everything!)

.

a salute to topshop sale! this was originally 60 something pounds and i got it for 25! hurrah!
annnnd i got a Lipsy “Lace Panelled Jersey Dress”

classic and understated! sexy little black dress with an alluring sweetheart cut modestly overlayed with black lace…JUST what i needed for that classy evening staple ;D and i got a shitload of other cute things for myself and friends that i might post later.

Meanwhile, I’m looking up American Apparel bodysuits and drooling.  I’m also thinking about creating a lookbook (lookbook.nu) but I’m hesitating because of my nooby photography skills (also I’m lazy, boo).  Maybe later…we’ll see.

Right now I’m watching 2012 and eating Toblerone…I also just finished half a carton of Haagen-Dazs Cookies & Cream Ice Cream.  dammit I keep telling myself to stop because its SPRING and nearing minimal clothing season…but my mouth wont obey and it just keeps eating )= Anyway I leave you all with a few pictures.

beachin’ it up in Greece woo!  I found the ADORABLE hat for around 13 Euros at this cute little Greek brand shop called “achilleas accessories.”  This is also my first time wearing this new retro-ish BRIGHT RED swimsuit I got at Victoria’s Secret before coming to the UK (inspired by rachel mcadam’s suit in “the notebook”).  Didn’t think I’d get the chance to wear it…well, at least not in the uk hahaaha.

afternoon tea with sharone and grace a while ago at Concerto in London
–i HIGHLY recommend this place.  i got a sandwich and it was AMAZING. this set was for two (sharon and grace ordered afternoon tea set) and it filled them up just right.  three different types of sandwiches, two different types of scones (with a little jar of jelly each!), and two yummy strawberry tarts on top. I think the total for this entire set was around 12-14 pounds (tea included).  everyone got their own separate pots of hot water for our tea as well.  my sandwich was around 8 pounds (i THINK, tea not included).  All in all it was very reasonably priced, very cute (although the shop itself was a bit cramped as it was so busy), and very very good!

until next time babies!

Grand Opening!

Okay, I’m just going to go ahead and start blogging so consider this the official opening of internationalsensasians.com!

For my xanga followers, this is where I will be from now on, and I am going to try to post at LEAST weekly.

So updates: Sharon and I are finally back from our European excursion!  I started my travels out on March 26th when my family arrived from DC.  We caught a train to Brussels, Belgium and met up with our tour group.  Then for the next four days, we hit up Cologne, Bonn, and Trier (Germany), Luxembourg (Luxembourg), and Amsterdam (Holland, Netherlands).  I will update in detail later.  The tour group ended in Paris, France, where the fam and I would stay for an additional two or three days.  Our hotel was right in the center of Paris and had a lovely view of the Eiffel Tower.

Around April 2nd, the family and I returned to London and I played tour guide for a couple days until they left on April 4th.  Then, April 7th I left England for Rome!

In Rome I met up with Sharon and her friend Chelsea.  From there, the three of us traveled together to Florence, Venice, Milan, and Athens, Greece.  We stayed in Athens for a good six days (their flight was cancelled due to the ash cloud), but fortunately the British airspace opened on the 21st, just in time for my scheduled flight.

So now I’ve been back for nearly four days, slowly readjusting to chilly UK weather and the prospect of going back to the states in a little over a month.  )=  I LOVE EUROPE! Nooo.

I will update with a “real,” detailed entry later.  Keep checking back on us!
