I am an international student in the U.S from Bhutan. I’ve been “Residing” in America since I attended boardi
ng school in Virginia at the age of 15. I’m majoring in Politics but I’m deeply passionate about music so I often promote for events in Western MA. Which, believe it or not, has quite a lot going on as we are misled to believe otherwise.
I’m a Scorpio and the youngest of 5 girls =D. I was born in the capital of Bhutan and I’ve also spent a considerable amount of time in Thailand. And ever since I came to America for my studies, I’ve come to call NYC my home away from home. I LOVE the city and plan to move there after I graduate from college. However the New England winter and the East Coast cold brings me the blues so I am tempted to go off to warmer shores aka sunny cali.
Oh and I’m constantly attached to my phone … I don’t really read books so I’m not going to pretend that I do, I’d rather observe an intellectual dialogue and learn from it and the intellectuals that surround me. I like to think and contemplate on social issues thats why I <3 watching movies, especially animations and reading comics. I enjoy the fact that getting lost in fantasy brings about enlightening revelations. In addition, I’m addicted to music videos, youtube is my best friend. My internship at the AAI Film Festival '10 in NYC was definitely one of the most exciting ones I've had, going to screenings and the perks of being a part of that industry have me reeled in.
I’m currently working as an events coordinator for Whiskey G1ass Studios, Inc (NY), Marketing Producer and actress for Polypore (www.polyporefilm.com) in addition to being a full time student. I am ready to graduate college, yay December 2011!!
